Senate redistricting (update)

Via Travis Fitzwater:

As many of you know, we’ve been waiting on Missouri state senate maps to be released as it affects our campaign in a big way. They released maps last week, find more information below:

The tentative senate map can be found on the Missouri Office of Administration’s Redistricting website here –> http://oa.mo.gov/bp/redistricting. If interested in commenting on the map that was released which created the 10th Senate district in mid-Missouri, which for the next 2 years will be filled by a Kansas City democrat, you can write the Commission that created the maps below during their 15 day comment period:

Senate Apportionment Commission
Redistricting Office
Jefferson State Office Building
Room 1310
Jefferson City, MO 65101
– OR CALL –
(573) 751-1319
Or, you can send an e-mail to matt.hesser@oa.mo.gov.

You have 15 days to comment on this map beginning on the date it was released. The Senate Apportionment Commission approved a map early Thursday morning, Feb. 23rd, 2012. If my math is correct, that means that you have until March 8th or 9th, 2012 (Depending on the official posting date of the map) to let them know what you think of the map.
